This original Queen Snapper gyotaku captures the natural form and intricate texture of the fish through the traditional Japanese art form of Gyotaku. Printed by hand using traditional sumi ink on delicate Xuan paper, the impression preserves the subtle details and organic character of the fish while remaining true to its original form. The eye has been hand painted as the sole enhancement, bringing a quiet sense of life and dimension to the otherwise natural impression.
Printed on Xuan paper. Signed original. Unframed.
